James Hutton Resigns from Board of Directors

January 5, 2012: Vancouver, B.C.: Argentum Silver Corp. ("Argentum" or the "Company") announces that Mr. James Hutton has resigned as a Director of the Company to avoid potential conflicts with other business interests. Mr. Hutton will make himself available to the Company on a consulting basis in the future should the need arise. The Board wishes to thank Mr. Hutton for his contributions to the Company's development and wishes him every success in the future.
